About Jake Anderson, Director of Cardinal Tutorials

After graduating from the American School of Barcelona, an international school, Jake was admitted to Stanford University, and graduated with a degree in International Relations. Besides also being admitted to Yale, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, and Virginia, among others, Jake was offered several scholarships, such as the Trustee Scholarship at USC and the Gabelli Scholarship at Boston College.

While at Stanford, Jake interned at the European Parliament in Brussels and studied abroad at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, where he completed his tutorial in Victorian Literature and received one-one-one instruction from Oxford faculty. Jake's experience as a student within the Oxford's Tutorial system inspired him to start Cardinal Tutorials and teach in the tutorial style. While not working with Cardinal Tutorials, Jake coaches the Spanish National Debate Team, which competes in the World Schools Debating Championship.
